The Gardens of Park Hills is a large reception hall located on Dixie Highway in Park Hills, next to Covington Catholic High School. Run by McHale Catering and Events, a leading caterer in Northern Kentucky, the Gardens has two banquet areas to choose from – the Arbor Room on the lower level, and Vista Ballroom on the upper level.
The Vista Room
The elegant space is the larger of the two options, with a capacity up to 350 people. This space has a Tuscany garden theme, with a faux marble dance floor, wall sconces, and chandeliers. The Vista Room also recently added a craft beer bar, feature popular beers from area breweries.
The Arbor Room
This space has a capacity for up to 300 guests. It features a raised stage perfect for wedding ceremonies. Cozy low ceilings and a classy black and gold decor define this sophisticated space. The Gardens does allow a rental of both rooms for an event, and it’s recommended that the Arbor Room be used for wedding ceremonies while the Vista Room and its craft beer bar serves as the reception hall.
Wedding and Catering Pricing
To celebrate the 15th year of operation, McHale’s is offering 2004 pricing for events through August 2020. Rates are as low as $35.95 per guest (100 minimum) for a five hour event. While there are still spending minimums, however this is a very affordable rate as it includes sales tax and service charge (note – not gratuity), and includes an open bar package.
The Gardens of Park Hills has ample free parking on-site, and is only a 5 minute drive from downtown Cincinnati, and about 15 minutes from the airport.
