The Penthaus is a newer venue in Over the Rhine on the top floor of the Strietmann Center. Being on top of one of the tallest buildings in this section of OTR, you’ll get incredible views of the downtown skyline, the basin, and the surrounding hills.
This historic space has been thoroughly renovated to be among the most beautiful in OTR. Inside, you’ll find wood floor, 12 foot ceilings, and large windows looking out on fantastic views of the city and hillsides. Outside on the roof, you’ll find even better views on the rooftop lounge.
The Penthaus has a capacity of 125 people inside and 80 on the outside rooftop terrace. It is handicap accessible and has a street-accessible freight elevator to get supplies and catering easily up to your event. The space has private bathrooms and a catering kitchen. There are two preferred caterers to choose from.
Location, Parking, and Nearby Ammenities
As an urban venue, it is very easy to get to, being just minutes from the nearest exits on I-71 or I-75, one block north of downtown, and a block away from a Cincinnati Streetcar stop. No parking is available on-site, but street parking is available on all sides, and large, multi-level garages are available at Washington Park and across Central Parkway, a minutes away walk. Hotels rooms are plenty in downtown, and afterparty options are rich, with the popular nightspot Queen City Radio across the street.
