A historic barn reception hall, with original red brick exterior and a wood and cobblestone floor inside. Opened as an event venue in 2010, the Centennial Barn was originally built in 1899, making it the oldest historic barn venue in the region. The barn is operated by Franciscan Ministries, a local charity that provide programs and support for area poor, which means that in addition to having a unique and gorgeous space for your wedding, the proceeds help support their mission.
Located on a sliver of Springfield Township between Cincinnati and Wyoming, OH, the Centennial Barn retains a country feel despite nearby urban surroundings thanks to its location on on the grounds of the St. Clare Convent and near the Wyoming Golf Club. Also on the grounds is St. Clare’s Chapel, an old, historic church attached to the convent that is available for wedding ceremonies. Ceremonies can also be held outside.
This event hall has a capacity for 300 people, a modern HVAC system, and has a second level wrap around porch that looks down on the dance floor (second level is not handicap accessible). Rentals are $5,000 for a Saturday reception ($4,000 on Friday or Sunday), or a weekend package which reserves your space for three days for $7,500. Included in the rental are tables and chairs, setup and tear down, cleaning, and use of the catering kitchen. With the weekend package, they also have an up-to-date A/V system, bridal suite, and a room to host a recital dinner.

You have an option of selecting one of their preferred caterers, or you can use one of your choosing for an additional fee. Bar packages are available for selection as well. Beyond that, entertainment and additional options are up to you.

Wedding ceremonies can be held on the grounds or in St. Clare’s Chapel, a Roman Catholic chapel attached to St. Clare’s Convent. Only 20 minutes from Downtown Cincinnati and two miles from the Ronald Reagan Highway and I-75, there are a number of hotel rooms and after-party options nearby or in downtown.

5 Stars – We had our wedding here and it was so incredibly beautiful! The staff are amazing to work with! They had everything running perfectly and on time day off, I didn’t feel any need to stress! Mayo and Brandi are a complete pleasure to work with and so incredibly sweet! We got married on the back patio and had the reception inside, and everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
