January 2020 Cincinnati Wedding and Bridal Shows

Engagement season is upon us – more people get engaged from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day than the rest of the year combined. And the first step to almost every wedding planning process is finding a venue. A great way to find a venue is to check out a wedding and bridal show. January is one of the busiest times of the year for bridal shows. Below are some Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area events that we’ve found.

Wendy’s Bridal Show

11 AM – 5 PM, January 4th and 5th, Duke Energy Convention Center

Wendy’s Bridal is the anchor of the Reading Bridal District, and puts on Wendy’s Bridal show twice a year. The winter show is the big one, spanning two days at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. Tickets are $8 each online ahead of the show, or $10 at the door. Hundred of vendors from photo booths to DJs will be there, in addition to at least 51(!) different wedding venues, from the Cincinnati Nature Center to The Center of downtown.

Cincinnati Wedding Showcase

11 AM – 4 PM January 11th & 12th, Sharonville Convention Center

The Cincinnati Wedding Showcase is the biggest show on the north side of the metro area. Taking over a large portion of the Sharonville Convention Center, over 100 wedding vendors, including at least 27 reception venues from the Willow Event Center to Stone Valley Meadows. A single day pass is $8, and a weekend pass is $12.

A Bridal Affair at Manor House

11 AM – 3 PM, January 26, Manor House, Mason, OH

A Bridal Affair puts on many bridal shows throughout Ohio each year, and the first of the year will be at the Manor House. We haven’t found a list of vendors yet, but chances are not many other wedding venues will be featured. However you will get a chance to check out the venue which is a popular option in the north suburbs. There is no entrance fee.

Receptions Bridal Show

12 – 4:30 PM, January 26, Receptions Fairfield, 5975 Boymel Dr, Fairfield, OH 45014

Receptions Bridal Show showcases the four locations in the local Receptions chain, as well as their preferred vendors for the year. Tickets are $10 each. Giveaways are a major feature of this show.

Make sure you go in with a plan when visiting a bridal show. They can be overwhelming experiences, particularly Wendy’s and the Cincinnati Bridal Showcase. Know what you’re most interested in – wedding photographers, specific venues, filling up on free cake (definitely the best part of each show!) and make it a priority to get to those vendors
